    Description

Gil Kane Amazing Spider-Man #123 Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1973). Gil Kane penciled the pages for this issue, however, they were lost in the mail, so John Romita Sr. used photocopies of the pencils to re-draw the entire thing, which he and Tony Mortellaro then inked. The pages later turned up, but it was too late to publish them. That's why this page looks similar to -- but different from the published page. The page is produced in tight and finished pencil graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". There are pinholes in the margins and slight handling wear; otherwise, it is in Excellent condition.
