Description

George Perez and Dave Hunt Fantastic Four #178 Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1977). The Thing... stranded in the Negative Zone... again! The Negative Zone was a natural setting for the Fantastic Four and was the source of many of their greatest adversaries. This page also gives George Perez free reign to draw as many rocks as he likes... and he likes to draw rocks! The title "Call My Killer -- The Brute!" is a reference to the Reed Richards of Counter-Earth, who stranded the Thing here in the Negative Zone at the end of last issue. It's a great page with great perspective and scope, produced in ink on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15" (including indicia). The page is signed by Perez in the bottom image area. The header paste-up and indicia are discolored and there is some production tape residue in the margins, and a slight overall tanning. In Very Good condition.
