    Description

Gene Colan and Tony DeZuniga - Original Art for Phantom Zone #1, page 31 (DC, 1982). The fiends from the Phantom Zone have been returned to corporeal form while Superman and Charlie Kweskill are cast into the eternal twilight in this final page from the first installment of the four-issue mini series, The Phantom Zone published in the early '80s. Gene Colan's ability to capture a moment comes shining through in this powerful scene, which is brought to life with the kinetic inks of Tony DeZuniga. The page size is 10.5" x 16" with an image area of 10" x 15".There is the tiniest use of white-out and three of the corners have been cut diagonally, but the page is extra clean, with very little sign of aging.
