    Description

Frank Miller and Klaus Janson Daredevil #158 Black Widow Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1979). The first page of Miller's first issue! The caption on this splash proved very prophetic: "From time to time a truly great new talent will explode on the Marvel scene like a bombshell. Amiable Al Milgrom and Jim (Trouble) Shooter confidently predict newcomer Lanky Frank Miller is just such an artist." And so he was. The Black Widow and Foggy Nelson co-star on the page that began one of the most acclaimed and fondly remembered runs in the history of comics. This mighty Marvel milestone has an image area of 10" x 13.5". Aside from some overall paper aging, the art is in Excellent condition. Signed by Miller at the lower center-right.
