Eduardo Barreto Atari Force #20 Splash Page 1 Original Art (DC, 1985). Martin Champion, Tempest, and Dart stand before the tribunal on Atari Station, branded criminals in the very world they once saved. With the verdict looming, their only hope is to prove that their shadowy nemesis, Dark Destroyer, is more than a myth. The stakes are set from the first page in this commanding opening splash from the final issue of DC's second Atari Force series, inspired by the iconic video game system.Ink over graphite on DC Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15" (including stat indicia paste-up). Slight toning, smudging/soiling, blue pencil and blue pen editorial notes/marks, marginal production notes, header, title, and text paste-ups, missing text paste-up ("Now they have returned to New Earth -- only to be greeted by something less than a hero's welcome."), missing credits paste-up in the lower right, glue residue staining, whiteout touch-ups, production-trimmed corners/edges, and production tape in the top right. In Very Good condition.
