DescriptionDoug Wildey - Rio, Splash Pages 21 and 22 Original Art (Comico, 1987). Doug Wildey's Rio is a former gun-fighter, road agent, and train robber, who earns a full pardon for his crimes by working a special assignment for President Ulysses S. Grant. In his travels, he encounters historical figures such as Jesse James and Geronimo. Wildey's art work for this series was rendered in grey mixed-media, and ink. This double-page splash has been mounted to a sheet of Fom-Cor, and the paper shows a bit of aging. Wildey's marker signature and inscription show a bit of marker fade. The pages combine to form an image area of 15" x 21.5" on 17" x 24" paper. Own a piece of the Wildey West!
