Description
Don Heck and Frank Chiaramonte The Flash #284 Splash Page 1 Original Art (DC, 1980). This first page of the Cary Bates story "Run, Flash... Run For Your Life!" features a very familiar theme in Flash stories and, sadly, proved a bit prophetic given his untimely end just five years later in Crisis on Infinite Earths #8. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The top text caption and logo are stat paste-ups, as is the lower indicia.
