Don Heck and Dick Giordano Wonder Woman #199 Splash Page 9 Original Art (DC, 1972). From deep in her "White Period", we get a training montage featuring Diana Prince: Wonder Woman! In an effort to make Wonder Woman more relevant (a popular word at both Marvel and DC at the time), writer Denny O'Neil stripped away her powers and costume, plunging Diana Prince into a path of re-inventing herself to stand on her own two feet. This costume-less period lasted from September 1968 to December 1972! Few other comic heroes have undergone so long of a transformation. Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". There is some production tape residue in the margins, and overall slight tanning, otherwise in Excellent condition.
