    Description

Dave Ross and Bob Layton Iron Man #258.1 Double-Splash Pages 7 and 8 Original Art (Marvel, 2011). An impressive unpublished double-splash page recounting events from the classic "Armor Wars" storyline, featuring Iron Man battling Stilt-Man, the Beetle, Stingray, and Crimson Dynamo, with a pair of inset panels depicting Tony Stark and Jim Rhodes. The project was originally to be published as Iron Man Forever #1, and tell the "Armor Wars II" story as originally envisioned by Layton before he jumped ship to Valiant Comics (John Byrne came aboard the title with his own idea for a sequel, which commenced with issue #258 -- hence the odd numbering of this issue). This page has an image area of 21" x 16" and is in Excellent condition.
