Darryl Banks and Romeo Tanghal Green Lantern #53 Double-Splash Pages 2 and 3 Original Art (DC, 1994). Just before Mongul could land the finishing blow to the Green Lantern, Superman, flying faster than a speeding bullet, lands a hit that knocks the big oaf off balance in this incredibly dynamic double splash, which also features photographer and Green Lantern love interest Alexandra DeWitt. Created in ink over graphite on two sheets of Bristol board which have been joined with tape from the back. The image area measures 21.75" x 15". The word balloons are hand-lettered text paste-ups, the word "Rematch!" is a stat paste-up, there's a text correction on Page 2 and a word balloon art correction on Page 3. Overall, in Excellent condition.
