Description
Darick Robertson The Boys #5 Splash Page 22 Original Art (DC/WildStorm, 2007). This last page of the story "Cherry: Part Three" shows "The Boys" getting ready for a "bit of the old ultraviolence". It is the first splash page featuring the "full team", and this rarely happened at all in the entire series. This intense image was made all the more intense when it inspired the cover art, which was an extreme close-up of Billy Butcher's hands. Yeah... someone's gonna get a spankin'. Created in ink over graphite and blue pencil on DC Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 15". Signed by Darick Robertson in the lower right margin.
