An atomic blast erupts over the mountain, white fire swallowing stone and sky. Tom Strong shields himself as the U.S. military drops the bomb to bury the Robots of Doom, the shockwave tearing across this explosive double page spread. Rendered by Tom Strong co-creator Chris Sprouse, whose Eisner Award-winning work defined Alan Moore's pulp-inspired Science Hero. Ink over graphite on conjoined DC/Vertigo Bristol boards with a combined image area of 21.25" x 15.75". Signed by Story in the top and bottom margins.
