Carmine Infantino and Terry Austin - Star Wars #11, page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1978). The Millenium Falcon perches high above the planet Aduba-3, on the Galactic Rim, awaiting its next skirmish with the dreaded Empire and the Sith Lord, Darth Vader. This is the title page to "Star Search!" written by Archie Goodwin, with pencils by Carmine Infantino and inks by Terry Austin. The page crackles to life with Infantino's superb handling of form and Austin's kinetic inking. It's tremendous work to be sure, and also Infantino's first work on the Star Wars comic book, to boot! The image size is 10" x 15". There is some slight shrinkage in the zipatone at the upper portion of the planet, but the art is still in Excellent condition. Includes the original title type and indicia paste-up art. Trust your feelings and bid now!
