Butch Burcham Jungle Woman Splash Page Original Art (Burcham, 2007). Burcham's vision of a prowling jungle woman and a leopard is consistent with his imagery for such series of the 1990s as Cave Girl and Fana -- with a significant resemblance to the comics' original rainforest heroine, Sheena, Queen of the Jungle. A notation (upper margin) suggests that the art belongs to a larger story, but the publishing pedigree is undocumented. Ink, watercolor, and wax pencil over graphite on Canson-brand Bristol board. Image area, 10.5" x 15.5". Light toning. Excellent condition.
