Description

Bob Brown and Mike Esposito The Avengers #122 Splash Page 1 Thor and Black Panther Original Art (Marvel, 1974). The battle between the Avengers and the Zodiac is interrupted when the entire warehouse they are in blasts off into space like a rocket! This opening page from the Steve Englehart story "Trapped in Outer Space!" shows the Vision, Black Panther, Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, and Thor all slammed to the floor as the building hurtles into infinity...and beyond! Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The lower portion has the original indicia stat paste-up. The top header banner may be a replacement stat. There are whiteout text corrections in several places. Toned, with glue residue. In Very Good condition.
