Description

Bob Brown and Frank Bolle Avengers #113 Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1973). Iron Man, Black Panther, the Vision, Captain America, Scarlet Witch, and Thor... if that sounds like the roll call of some upcoming Marvel movies, that is no accident. Marvel comic books, and The Avengers in particular, have proven to be a fertile ground for the movie industry to plough! In an unusual bit, this page is a cross-over with Astonishing Tales #18, or at least a cross-over with the aftermath of that story, as the Avengers set about repairing Lady Liberty who got damaged in that battle. This page is produced in ink over graphite, on Bristol board, with an image area of 10" x 15" (counting the indicia). There is slight tanning, a taped in text correction, and production tape on the top header stats. The indicia is tanned with a piece of paste-up missing from it. Overall in Very Good condition.
