Antonio Prohias - Original Art Splash Page (undated). The master of cloak and dagger, Cuban artist Antonio Prohias, brings us this titillating tidbit of tooning featuring one of his world-famous Spy vs. Spy characters. This splash page was used in a collected volume and is a study in the fine art of over-the-top cartooning. It comes complete with a hand-drawn type treatment at the top and a production overlay. This scintillating solo piece hits the reader in the jocular vein with its devastating sense of humor. The drawing in the frame is the first indication of the chain reaction which is sure to come.
