Al Feldstein Crime Patrol #16 Splash Page 1 Original Art (EC, 1950). Title splash from EC Comics' second horror issue -- ever! "Here is another tale taken from the Crypt of Terror" This splash for the illustrated SuspenStory "The Spectre In The Castle!" is introduced by the Crypt Keeper himself! It's a bit of twice-up scale terror, created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 18". There is slight toning, and the logo and header are stat paste-ups. There are also text paste-ups, tape and tape residue staining, marginal pinholes, tears on the right edge, with smudging and handling wear. Signed by Feldstein in the lower left of the image area.
