William Van Horn - Uncle Scrooge Original Art Illustration (undated). Uncle Scrooge soothes his aching webbed feet by soaking them in a bucket of gold coins! Could that really work or is it the "placebo effect?" Carl Barks chose William Van Horn to illustrate his last Uncle Scrooge script, "Horsing Around With History." The art was edited by Barks and he deemed Van Horn's art to be superb. As a result, William Van Horn became the Donald Duck artist for the Gladstone U.S. comic books in the 1990s. The image area of this watercolor measures 10" x 11.5", the art is in Excellent condition, and the painting has been signed at the lower right. Soothe your workaday cares with a beautiful William Van Horn original!
