    Description

    Vaughn Bodé - Cheech Wizard Illustration Original Art (1974). The crude and abusive Cheech Wizard, was created by a teenage Vaughn Bodé, who later developed and refined him as a commercial art student at Syracuse University, establishing Cheech and other distinctive characters in his college newspaper. The Cartoon Messiah is poised to do some damage to an unsuspecting Lizard, in this color illustration from 1974, drawn one year before Bodé's untimely death. Rendered in marker on a 22" x 30" sheet of illustration board, the art is in Very Good condition. From the Collection of John McLaughlin.
