Skip Williamson - Magazine Panel Cartoon Group of 2 Original Art (undated). Two early pen and ink Skip Williamson panel cartoons are showcased in this group lot. In the first piece, a bald philosopher scrawls an ironic bit of graffiti concerning Oedipus and his mother -- nudge, nudge, wink, wink. The paper measures an overall 8" x 9.5" and is signed in the lower right. The second illustration is a portrait of a busty girl, only with Wonder Warthog-like ears and snout, and a flower in her hair. This piece measures an overall 7" x 11", and is signed along the lower right border. These cartoons may have been penned for an early humor magazine such as Harvey Kurtzman's Help! Both are in Excellent condition.
