Robert Crumb Whiteman Meets Bigfoot "Examination" Concept Sketch Original Art (1977). One of the best of the R. Crumb illustrations done for an unproduced movie screenplay based on the story from Home Grown Funnies. Crumb spoke to Heritage about these drawings, and related how he was contracted by Boyd Jacobson to illustrate new scenes for the film, and paid one dollar a year for a number a years for the rights. When this version finally fell through, Crumb and his buddy Terry Zwigoff did their own version of the screenplay, only to eventually drop the project when the 1987 film Harry and the Hendersons came out. This intriguing ink drawing of the female Yeti being inspected by scientists is on tracing paper, with an image area of approximately 8" x 11.5". The page has been attractively framed with Plexiglas to an overall size of 18" x 20.5" and it is in Excellent condition.
