    Description

Robert Crumb Unpublished Whiteman Meets Bigfoot Illustration Original Art (1977). Lady Bigfoot waves to the crowd in this delightful scene from the never-produced film screenplay, Whiteman Meets Bigfoot. Writer Boyd Jacobson spent many years trying to bring this project, based on R. Crumb's classic comic, to the screen; unfortunately, the movie never made it past the planning stages. This detail-filled illustration of the carnival-like "Bigfoot Days" celebration scene shows what would have been a highlight of the film, and is a remarkable piece of pen-and-ink art. The image area pretty much fills up the 9" x 11.75" tracing paper page, and the art is in Excellent condition.
