Robert Crumb Unpublished Whiteman Meets Bigfoot Illustration Original Art (1977). Lady Bigfoot waves to the crowd in this delightful scene from the never-produced film screenplay, Whiteman Meets Bigfoot. Writer Boyd Jacobson spent many years of his life trying to bring this project, based on R. Crumb's classic comic, to the screen, and had a number of Hollywood stars interested; unfortunately, the movie never made it past the planning stages. This detail-filled illustration of the carnival-like "Bigfoot Days" celebration scene shows what would have been a highlight of the film, and is a remarkable piece of pen-and-ink art. The image area pretty much fills up the 9" x 11.75" tracing paper page, and the art is in Excellent condition.
