Robert Crumb "Sharron Foley" Double-Sided Sketchbook Page Original Art (1961). A great image of Fritz the Cat is the highlight of this early page from one of Robert and Charles Crumb's many "two-man" sketchbooks. By this time, Robert was doing the bulk of the art, but Charles has slipped a small image of their Treasure Island character, Jim, up alongside Robert's Mabel. A friend from Dover, Delaware, Sharron Foley, is mentioned on both sides. A cool double-sided page dating from Robert's final year of high school, in graphite on a 5.5" x 8.25" unlined sketchbook page, marked 31 and 32. The page has some light soiling, and has a one-inch tear at the top that doesn't affect the art; otherwise the page is in Very Good condition. A signature has been added in recent years on one side.
