    Description

Robert Crumb - Placemat Sketches Original Art (Drawn & Quarterly, 2003). Robert Crumb has been very busy these days. The poor man can't even go to a cafe and enjoy a meal out; he is compelled to pull out his Rapidograph and add sketches to every placemat he finds in front of him! Here's a nice one that has seen print in Volume Three of Crumb's Waiting For Food series, executed on grey textured paper which measures approximately 12.75" x 9.75". Sorry -- no food stains on this one! Just lines on paper, folks -- all the art is freehand pen-and-ink (plus a dollop or two of white-out), with nary a pencil line in sight! The art in in Excellent condition. Bon Appetit, Crumb fans!
