Mike Ploog Frankenstein Concept Sketch Original Art (Marvel, c. 1973). This concept sketch by Mike Ploog for Frankenstein was based on a drawing created by John Romita Sr., Marvel's art director at the time. Ploog's tenure on the series lasted six issues, but it was enough to bring him fame as one of the most unique artists to illustrate the tragic character. Rendered in graphite on bristol, the art has an image area of 10" x 15" and it is in Excellent condition. Signed by Mike Ploog at the lower right.
