Martin Nodell Full Color Human Torch Sketch Original Art (undated). Martin Nodell, who worked on the Human Torch feature from 1940-50, quells the flames of a natural disaster with his fireballs, in this specialty sketch featuring the Golden Age Torch. Nodell left All-American/DC in 1947 and joined Timely Comics, the 1930s-'40s forerunner of Marvel Comics, where he drew postwar stories of Captain America, the Human Torch, and the Sub-Mariner. This marker sketch measures an overall 11.5" x 9", and it's in Excellent condition. Inscribed and signed at the bottom right.
