Ken Kelly - Conan Hologram Card Oil Painting, Group of 9 (FPG, 1992). Ken Kelly ranks among the best of Conan's many illustrators. For the three FPG Conan Hologram cards "Dungeon of Doom" (H1), "Swamp Peril" (H2), and "Eve of Destruction" (H3), Kelly executed nine full-color oil on masonite scenes that were used to create the levels of depth. On one of the cards he commented about the process, "Creating three separate paintings that make up one holographic image is a lot like building a complicated puzzle. All the images must piece together to make the final product work." These illustrations range in overall size from 11.5" x 14" to 18" x 24", and the art averages Excellent condition. Two sets of the hologram cards are also included in this lot.
