Description
Joe Shuster - Superman Sketch Original Art (1943). A vintage sketch of the Man of Steel by his co-creator, Joe Shuster! This is a full-body sketch, which is even rarer, as Shuster normally drew a bust style image, or just a headshot for fans. Pure graphite, signed in pen at the bottom of the 7.25" x 14" Bristol board section. There are some very light blue pencil rough sketches on the back that include a Clark Kent and a Superman figure. It is toned and has some minor staining around the edges. Housed in a 19" stand-up "floating" Lucite frame with a 13.5" x 5" wooden base. In Very Good condition.From the Milt Rosenberg Estate.
