    Jim Aparo - Original Promotional Art for Batman: A Death in the Family (DC, 1996). Alone against terrorists and the Joker, the second Robin proves his heroism at the cost of his own life. From the story written by Jim Starlin, with art by Jim Aparo and Mike DeCarlo, this controversial storyline decided the fate of Jason Todd! These four promo illustrations are drawn by Jim Aparo on two sheets of 11.25" x 17" bristol board, and feature Batman carrying Jason Todd and his mother through a fiery scenario with a grim determination. The image size for each drawing is 6" x 9". The art is clean and bright and each drawing is signed by Jim Aparo.
