Description

Jean Giraud (Moebius) - Claudine Sketch Original Art (c. 1982). A hush of mountain solitude envelops Claudine Conin, drawn by her husband Jean Giraud, Moebius, in a few searching lines. Made during their early 1980s stay at the Moulin de Vignau in the Pyrenees, the sketch carries his airy precision and intimate lyricism. The work was exhibited at San Francisco's Cartoon Art Museum in 1995, though it was left out of the exhibit catalog, Moebius: A Retrospective. Drafted in ink on art paper with an image area of 9" x 10.5". Includes COA. In Excellent condition.
