Jay Lynch - Nard n' Pat Illustration Original Art (1974). Pioneer underground cartoonist Jay Lynch, the founder and editor of Bijou Funnies, was also the creator of Nard n' Pat, a truly odd couple. Two of his most memorable characters, the droll Nard n' Pat make a statement about conspiracy in this hand drawn, hand colored piece from 1974. Lynch's style is deceptively simple, and close examination reveals an almost maniacal attention to detail, attested by the flower pattern on the drapes, the book title, and the cross hatching throughout the panel. The image area is 6" x 9" and in Excellent condition. Lynch original art is rare and where are you ever going to find a color piece this sweet?
