    Description

    J. Breslow - "Eye in the Sky" Illustration Original Art (undated). Production notes on the back of this piece indicate that it may have been created as an illustration for Philip K. Dick's novel, Eye in the Sky. In that thriller, Jack Hamilton and seven others are caught in a lab accident at the Belmont Bevatron. They all regain consciousness in a fantasy world of Old Testament morality gone awry -- a place of instant plagues, immediate damnation, and death to all perceived infidels. Hamilton figures out how he and his compatriots can escape this world and return to their own, but first they must pass through three other vividly fantastical worlds, each more perilous and hilarious than the one before. In any case, this detailed mixed-media on vellum illustration (mounted on Foamcore board) has an image area that measures approximately 15" x 19", and the art is in Very Good condition.
