Description
Frank Frazetta - Wolf Sketches Original Art (c. 1950s). Frazetta achieved a mastery of painterly technique (in transition from early comic-book assignments) through such detailed sketch-studies as this array of rampant wolves. Of course, a Frazetta sketch contains more diligent composition and detailed polishing than many another artist's finished work. Layered pencil-strokes on eggshell paper, with an approximate image area of 12" x 9.25". Sealed under Plasticine to 17" x 14".
