    Description

Frank Frazetta - Original Sketches, Doodle Book Title Page (1953). This art, from one of Frank Frazetta's early sketch books, is labeled with the title, "The Doodle Book... by Frank Frazetta, 1953" at the top in ink. Below this is Frazetta's then current address and telephone numbers. The page is filled with various pen and ink doodles, a male and female nude figure, and a woman with flowing, black hair, drawn by the then 25 year old Frazetta. The work is clean and clear, with some aging apparent across the entire page, due to the material that Frazetta originally drew on. An interesting bit of Frazetta history. Signed by Frank Frazetta. Provenance: The Alexander Gallery.
