Frank Frazetta - Original Sketch of Indian (undated). Fantasy master, Frank Frazetta, created this spirited color sketch of an indian on horseback, stalked by a pack of wolves, in an undated sketchbook. Although the color image is only 5.5" x 7.5", on an overall 8.5" x 8.75" sheet of sketch paper, Frazetta packs it full of detail, and the color is brilliant. Created in pencil and watercolor, this small sketch could easily have been a rough draft for a full painting. There is also a very small pencil sketch of a gorilla to the left of the color sketch. The work is in great shape, with some slight staining at the left and bottom edges. Provenance: The Alexander Gallery.
