David Wright - Esme Wright Portrait Sketch Original Art (undated). A head-and-shoulders sketch of Esme Wright, the artist's wife, favorite model, and enduring muse. Many of David Wright's famed glamour "lovelies" were built from Esme's features, making her the face behind the fantasy. Rendered in graphite on 15" x 20" Bristol board. Toning, with foxing on the edges, staining in the lower right quadrant, spot staining on left edge, creasing, small lower right corner piece is nearly detached, and handling wear.
