    Chester Gould - Dick Tracy Illustration Original Art (The Chicago Tribune, 1972). Chester Gould drew this specialty piece for the National Cartoonist Society Awards program in 1972 the same year he premiered his character, Peanutbutter. The sticky-fingered tyke is pictured complete with his trademark jar of you know what! Signed "To the greatest professionals in the world, America's cartoonists! - Chester Gould." The art measures 8.75" x 11.5" and is in Excellent condition. From the collection of Larry Doucet.
