    Charles Schulz Charlie Brown in Military Fatigues Sketch Original Art (c. 1958). Throughout his life, cartoonist Charles Schulz was a very generous and giving man. Especially during his early career, he honored many a fan request for a Peanuts strip original or sketch. This oversized grease pencil sketch of Charlie Brown, dressed in Army fatigues, was done in response to a request by "Charlie" Company at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. The drawing on slightly tanned illustration board has an image area of approximately 14.75" x 22", and is Very Good condition. A photostat copy of a 1958 newspaper clipping about the request to make Charlie Brown the company mascot is included.
