Carl Barks Sketch Original Art Group (c. 1960s-80s). A large group of sketches done in graphite and colored pencil make up the bulk of this lot. Also included: one small portrait of a woman, painted in blue wash and signed, with an approximate image area of 3" x 4"; a nicely detailed sketch page of bears, in graphite and blue pencil on five-peghole animation paper; and a Carl Barks business card with his San Jacinto address, with a loose sketch on the reverse. Most pieces show animals; some are of children, old sailing ships, vintage firearms, and pastoral scenes; many are on tracing paper. Also included are a few drawings (and photocopies) given to Barks by fans. None of the material is Disney related; overall Very Good condition. Includes a Jerry Weist and Chris Boyko signed Certificate of Authenticity.
