Carl Barks - Mickey Mouse Animation-Style Sketch Original Art (Another Rainbow, 1988). Nicely detailed full-figure sketch of Mickey Mouse with top hat and cane, doing a little "Fred Astaire" dance. Modeled after drawings done while Barks was an animation in-betweener at Disney Studios for the 1935 Mickey cartoon, "Thru the Mirror," this piece was done in 1988 as a series of 100 drawings to be inserted in Gold Plate editions of the book Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse in Color. The drawing is in graphite and colored pencil on 7" x 6" paper, with an approximate image size of 5" x 3.5". Excellent condition; signed "C. Barks" below the image.
