Carl Barks and Stephen Eberhart - Uncle Scrooge Sketch Original Art, Manuscripts, and Handwritten Letters Group of 72 (c. 1960-1980s). A treasure trove for Duck aficionados: headlined by Carl Barks' charming sketch of Uncle Scrooge hustling to the public library to read a new book about himself. The lot includes a revealing run of correspondence between Barks and critic Stephen Eberhart, Barks' original handwritten manuscript for "So Far and No Safari" from Uncle Scrooge #61 (1966), and his handwritten synopsis for an untold Scrooge adventure about curing ringing ears, tentatively titled "Silver Bells". Rounding it out are additional Barks Scrooge story ideas, adaptations, and concepts, plus a signed Carl Barks photo and print. A rare look inside the Duck Man's creative workshop, from rough spark to finished tale. Approximately 72 pieces on various sizes/types of paper, which is accompanied by a COA from the Carl Barks Estate and a copy of Uncle Scrooge #127 that reprints the "So Far and No Safari" story.
