Goblins was published in 1984, and Brian made his first forays into film work as the conceptual designer for "The Dark Crystal" and "Labyrinth" movies under director Jim Henson. Richard says: "If it were not for Brian Froud, we would not know nearly as much about good fairies and bad fairies as we do! He's a master interpreter of the fantastic, and we were very happy to find this impish little drawing available at a convention art show."
