Barry Smith and Rich Buckler - Conan Sketch Original Art (undated). Barry Smith has penciled a pulse-pounding portrait of Conan, the Cimmerian -- the brawling barbarian has his sword drawn, and stands ready to crush his enemies, see them driven before him, and hear the lamentation of their women. Smith signed his drawing beneath the figure and a note was written below that in pencil, "inks by Rich Buckler." The background texture was left uninked and part of it was erased to give more contrast to the figure, to separate it visually from the patterned background. The image area of this work measures approximately 8.5" x 11", and there are a few touches of white-out; otherwise the art is in Excellent condition. Don't miss out on this fabulous portrait by one of Conan's finest interpreters.
