    Sheldon Moldoff Father and Son Preliminary Comic Cover Original Art (1952). In 1952 Sheldon Moldoff, known for his work for DC Comics during the Golden Age, decided that a new type of comic was needed for youngsters that would also receive approval from mothers. This preliminary layout was created in mixed media on art paper with an image area of 9" x 11.5". There is light toning, soft handling wear, creases and corner bumps, with staples in the left side. The inside has a typed scenario and proposal about the comic. In Very Good condition.
