Sam Gold Smilin' Jack Pep Pin Illustration Original Art (Kellogg's, 1945). Handsome portrait of Zack Mosley's adventure strip character, created by Sam Gold for the classic series of giveaway pinback buttons. Ink on Bristol board, with an approximate image area of 4.25" x 4.25" (including printer's marks), in an unevenly trimmed mat. Includes a color guide on onion skin paper (mounted to acetate), a Pep button, and a Certificate of Authenticity from Gordon K. Gold. Excellent condition.Auction Info
