Ross Andru and Mike Esposito Amazing Spider-Man #185 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1978). A bit of Marvel history... Peter Parker graduates college! It only took him 13 years, as he graduated from High School in 1965's Amazing Spider-Man #28. This cover is produced in ink over graphite, on Bristol board, with an image area of 9.75" x 15". There is extensive paste-up used in the creation of this cover. Spider-Man's head is a stat. The webbing in the background was created on vellum and has been pasted down, All text and logos are paste-up as well. There are original art paste-up art corrections on the heads of almost every character in the bottom row. The page is slightly tanned, with production tape on many paste-ups, and discoloration in the vellum overlay paste-up. One of the text pieces is missing. Overall in Good condition.
