Ron Wilson and Frank Giacoia The Human Torch #7 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1975). Fire and water are always opposing forces of nature -- so it is no surprise that the Human Torch is always at odds with the Sub-Mariner! This cover not only pays tribute to the battles these two had in the 1940s (even though the Human Torch of that era was a different character), but this cover also has some similarities to the classic Jack Kirby and Sol Brodsky cover to Strange Tales #107. Ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image size of 10.5" x 15.75". Slightly toned, whiteout corrections, discolored tape on the bottom edge, tape residue on the top edge, some residue staining and smudging, with light edge and handling wear. In Very good condition. Includes a copy of the comic.
