    Description

Roger Armstrong Napoleon Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 4-9-52 (Lafave Newspaper, 1952). With the passing of he strip's creator, Clifford McBride (1901-1951), just a year before, Roger Armstrong was asked to take over this series. The writing was handled by Clifford McBride's widow, Margo McBride. This daily is very funny, but in a sort of dark, off-center, way! Uncommon for this strip, to be sure. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 16.5" x 4.75". Signed by Armstrong in the last panel. In Excellent condition.
